Meredith Pardue Opens "Terrain"

Meredith Pardue's newest work, a series of mixed media paintings on panels, entitled "Terrain" wowed the audience Thursday night October 11th.  Eight new paintings graced the walls of our newly expanded space which looked, quite frankly, stunning. Natural light pouring in, soft colors on the walls, a luminous glow from the Murano glass chandeliers,  and open space offered an ethereal atmosphere in which to enjoy these superb works of art.

In the TERRAIN exhibition, Meredith Pardue explores the parallels of the seasons of our lives with the formation of the Earth’s terrain.  She likens the amassing of geological changes, one upon another, to the psychological and physical wounds of our own human lives.  “It is a celebration of the transitional beauty as the seasons move across our landscape, as life moves forward, mirroring the Earth herself,” says Meredith of the series.

Admiring "Terrain XVI", opening night.

"Terrain XXIII" was one of our favorites.

"Terrain XIX" and "Terrain XX" look exceptional side by side.

Jacque McCall and James Blair, enjoying the show!

Show runs through November 30th.
